The day of the Semla is coming up soon, (a traditional Swedish pastry) so I want to share a yummy recipe with you.Ingredients:
2 dl milk
75 gram butter
3 dl wheat flour
2 teaspoon cardamom
1 dl sugar
20 gram yeast
Melt the butter, add the milk, stir down the yeast and add the dry ingredients.
Let rise for 1 h.
Meanwhile make the almond paste!
I use almond flour
Mix 3 dl almond flour and 10 dates. Yum!
When the dough has risen, divide it into 10-12 round buns.
Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes at 200 degrees.
Before serving, make a little whole for the almond paste, add the paste, but cream on top of it, but the top of the semla back and finish it off with some icing sugar.
